Battery–Inverter Compatibility: LiHua LiFePO4 Batteries for Mainstream Inverter Brands
Our energy storage batteries are compatible with mainstream inverter brands on the market. LiHua’s home energy storage battery series has passed communication compatibility tests with the 23 inverter brands listed below, so the battery and inverter can exchange data for coordinated charging and discharging.

Communication between battery and inverter: CAN and RS485
A closed-loop connection lets the inverter read the battery’s state of charge, voltage, current and alarms from the BMS and adjust charging accordingly. Depending on the model, our energy storage batteries provide CAN and RS485 communication ports, and many models also have RS232. The exact ports for each model are listed on its page under Energy Storage Batteries.

How to confirm compatibility for your project
- Send your inverter details. Brand, model and, if you know it, the firmware version.
- Tell us the battery you need. Voltage, capacity and how many units will run in parallel.
- We check the match. Our team confirms the communication protocol and the battery model to use.

Which inverter brands work with LiHua energy storage batteries?
Our home energy storage battery series has passed communication compatibility tests with Afore, Anern, Deye, FOX ESS, GoodWe, Growatt, LiHua Lighting (our own inverters), LuxPowerTek, MEGAREVO, MUST, RENAC, SERMATEC, SMA, SOFAR SOLAR, Sol-Ark, Solis, SOROTEC, SRNE, Studer, TBB Power, Victron Energy, Voltronic Power and Xindun.
My inverter brand is not on the list. Can I still use your battery?
Send our sales team your inverter brand and model at sales@mileds.com. We will check it against our battery models and tell you what we can confirm.
Which communication protocols do your batteries support?
Depending on the model, our storage batteries communicate with the inverter over CAN or RS485, and many models also have RS232. The ports for each model are listed on its product page.
Do the compatibility tests cover every LiHua battery?
